1. Scope of Recruitment Support Services

CleanBow may offer recruitment-related support services to cleaning providers, including:

  • Candidate sourcing and referrals

  • Introduction of jobseekers or workers

  • Guidance on recruitment processes

  • Support with role definition and workforce planning

CleanBow does not:

  • Act as an employer

  • Employ, supervise, or manage workers on behalf of providers

  • Guarantee candidate suitability or performance

  • Act as an employment agency unless explicitly stated

Any employment relationship is strictly between the cleaning provider and the worker.


2. Responsibility of Cleaning Providers (Recruitment)

Cleaning providers using CleanBow recruitment support remain fully responsible for:

  • Conducting right-to-work checks

  • Carrying out DBS checks where required

  • Verifying qualifications, experience, and references

  • Issuing contracts of employment or engagement

  • Compliance with employment law, tax, and payroll obligations

  • Day-to-day supervision, management, and safeguarding

CleanBow accepts no liability for employment decisions made by providers.


3. Candidate Information and Data Protection

Where CleanBow introduces candidates:

  • Information is shared in good faith based on what is provided by the candidate

  • CleanBow does not independently verify all candidate claims unless stated

  • Providers must carry out their own due diligence

Candidate data must be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and used only for legitimate recruitment purposes.


4. Scope of Consulting and Advisory Services

CleanBow may provide consulting, advisory, or improvement support to cleaning providers, including:

  • Operational and process improvement guidance

  • Business and growth support

  • Standards, compliance, and quality improvement advice

  • Workforce and organisational guidance

All consulting services are provided:

  • On a best-endeavours basis

  • For general business improvement purposes only

  • Without guaranteeing specific commercial outcomes


5. No Regulated Advice

CleanBow consulting services do not constitute:

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

  • Tax advice

  • Health and safety certification

  • Regulatory approval or inspection

Providers must seek appropriate qualified professionals for regulated advice where required.


6. Limitation of Liability (Recruitment & Consulting)

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • CleanBow is not liable for losses arising from recruitment decisions

  • CleanBow is not liable for business performance outcomes

  • CleanBow is not liable for employment disputes, claims, or tribunals

  • CleanBow is not liable for compliance failures by providers

Any liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question, where applicable.


7. Professional Judgement and Implementation

Providers acknowledge that:

  • Advice and guidance must be adapted to their own business context

  • Implementation decisions rest entirely with the provider

  • Outcomes depend on factors outside CleanBow’s control


8. Termination of Support Services

CleanBow may suspend or withdraw recruitment or consulting support if:

  • Information provided is misleading

  • There is misuse of candidate data

  • There are serious breaches of standards or conduct

  • Continued support poses legal or reputational risk


9. Relationship Status

Nothing in CleanBow’s recruitment or consulting services creates:

  • An employment relationship

  • A partnership

  • A joint venture

  • An agency relationship

Cleaning providers remain independent businesses at all times.


10. Governing Law

This addendum is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
